Nano-in-boothLuck-with-KavKav-in-Studio

Have completed another adventure at Spring Studio. Nano was over here from Chile and his round of tours and special appearances and the collaboration was a winner. I played frisbee with him at the National Folk Festival in Canberra last year and surprized him by telling him he would be back in Australia in a years time, in my studio. I dont think he believed me at the time but sometime its strange how things work out. It must be the Gypsy in me http://www.kavisha.com/ and http://www.myspace.com/nanostern

Tarka

Veni Vidi Vici. We played the concerts and they were great. The Orchestra did an outstanding job of interpreting

this often difficult and challenging material, and the result was captured on 6 HD cameras and an audio recorder.

Now I have to edit it and put it out on DVD for the musicians to have a look.

If you are interested in having a copy of this DVD which will aso include the film I shot for the concert, and which

was projected during the concert, email me at harry @springstudio.com.au.

Thats all for now - back to the editing suite!

If you dont know Doug's solo work, have a look at this piece I filmed at the Boite concert in 2007.

Really beautiful playing.

The Battle of the Beanfield

This Unusual school musical by Chris James is complete. The story is based on a true

incident in the UK when the Travellers were forbidden to go to Stonhenge and were instead assaulted, their

mobile homes burnt and their convoy destroyed. It is recent history but it sounds incredible.

Featuring Harry, Maribel Steel and Mal Webb on vocals and many instruments.
