"There
is very little I can say about Carl Pannuzzo that will not come out
sounding like he paid me lots of money to say it. So let me just say
this, and I'll say it for free: he looks like a normal-enough guy, but
in fact Carl Pannuzzo is one of the most precious songwriters we have.
And just for the record, it was his music that first inspired me to
become a songwriter. His songs are the best kept secrets Melbourne
has ever had. For his honesty and his ability, he's right up there with
the big ones. Years before I knew him, his songs had already seen me
through my very darkest nights. His songs become like a set of keys
into a whole new house of thought. His melodies lodge themselves into
people's heads like inspiring little secrets...and it's all true"...(Clare Bowditch)
This is both the begining and ending of an era for Melbourne vocalist, writer, pianist and muti-instrumantalist Carl.
This CD took two years to produce and featured dazzling performances from 4 different lineups as well as several highly emotive solo tracks.
Cael surrounds himself with the finest jazz and rock talents and I find this CD compelling and beautiful to listen to - a classic.
Featuring Steve Magnusson, Frank Di Sario, Bob Sedergreen, Roger Bergedaz and a cast of thousands. I have a few copies of this CD left
